Translated by Stella Kim. Stella Kim studied Music and East Asian Studies at Colby Colledge in Maine and Korean History at Columbia University in the New York City. She developed her interest in literary translation while spending a year in the Translation Academy at the Literature Translation Institute of Korea. She received the Korean Literature Translation Award for New
Career Translators in 2014 and the Korea Times Translation Award in 2016. After earning her MA in translation and interpretation at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, she is currently working as a freelance translator and interpreter.
