플란더스 (Flanders) 양시온 대표는 Grand Canyon University에서 Arts in Digital Film을 전공하고 현재 Link Management (http://linkmanagement.co.kr/)에 소속 Creative Director 및 영화와 드라마 시나리오 작가이다.

양시온 작가는, 전직 영어강사로서 그동안 많은 학생들과 만나고 소통하면서 주니어 판타지 소설과 애니메이션 시나리오를 집필하게 되었다. 학생들의 어린 시절부터 지금까지 읽어왔던 책들과 만화영화에 대한 생각들과 의견들을 듣고 교감하게 되면서 아이들이 진정으로 원하는 이야기를 책에 담게 되었다. 작가는, 이 책을 통해, 독자가 이야기를 읽고 듣는 동안 한편의 영화를 보고 있는 것 같은 경험을 할 수 있도록 스토리를 그려내었다. 이 책은 아이들과 청소년들을 위한 많은 교훈을 담고 있다.

About Author
The author majored in Art &Digital Film in Grand Canyon University in US.
She’s a Korean Screenwriter and Creative Director in Link Management in Republic of Korea.

Author Biography
The author has met over 700 students during her career as an English instructor, discussing about books and animations. While listening to students’ thoughts and opinions about the books and animations that they grew up with since their childhood, the author had a chance to closely observe and realize what it really is that children want in the entertainment.
In lieu of violent and provocative media of today, the author wanted to create a new genre of Junior Novel where love, friendship, wisdom, politeness and justice avail but not at the cost of fun and entertainment.
The book ‘Saving Prince Wormie’ will hopefully become a ‘Heart-Worming Project’ that children can cherish with their heart.
