Dr. Jin Lee is pursuing a professional and academic music career. As a versatile pianist, Jin is a recitalist and soloist with orchestras and plays frequently in North America and abroad. As an educator, Jin also has extensive teaching experience both at the university and preparatory levels, serving at universities and music institutions throughout the United States and Korea. Dr. Lee's educational teaching career includes independent studio education for all ages; music director, at Norwalk College, Suny at Purchase, University of Michigan, and Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York City. Jin also teaches Piano pedagogy at Ewha Womans University, Korea. She had the honor of studying with the world-renowned pedagogue Nelita True at the Eastman School of Music and earned a master's degree in piano performance. She also studied under Marian Hahn at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University. She received her Doctoral degree from Pennsylvania State University, under the guidance of Timothy Shafer. Dr. Lee earned a teacher recognition certificate from the American Protege International Competition and is currently an US Steinway & Sons Educational Partner.
